Lodging
Since public transportation in Atlanta is cumbersome, and parking around Emory is difficult, the planning committee recommends that attendees stay close to the conference. We have secured excellent discounted rates at the following locations, all very near (within 1 kilometer) to the conference site at Emory’s main campus. For all locations except the University Inn at Emory, shuttle buses will be provided to bring people to and from the main campus.
Emory Conference Center Hotel and Emory Inn
These two hotels are next door to each other and under the same management. The Emory Conference Center Hotel is a luxury hotel and the site of the welcome and farewell receptions. Conference attendees may book rooms here at the steeply discounted rate of $135 per night. The Emory Inn next door is a nice hotel that includes a complimentary continental breakfast. Conference attendees make book rooms here at the discounted rate of $89 per night. Both hotels have access to a fitness center and pool. Most rooms have two double beds. Internet access is also available. To learn more please visit www.emoryconferencecenter.com. To reserve a room at either hotel, call +1 404-712-6565. From North America, you may also call toll free 800-933-6679. To reserve a room by email, please contact reservation@ecch.emory.edu. In all cases, please do indicate that you are a participant in the IABS conference to get the discounted rate.
The University Inn at Emory
This modest hotel is across the street from the main campus. The planning committee has secured discounted rates ranging from $74 - $120 per night.
