Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia is proud to sponsor the XVth Congress of the International Association of Buddhist Studies, June 23-28, 2008. This academic conference, held once every three to four years, is the premier international forum for scholars of Buddhism to present their findings.
In addition to promoting scholarly exchange at the highest level, the conference also seeks to provide ample opportunities for personal contact among its international participants. To this end, the academic program is complemented with a variety of special events such as excursions, dinners, receptions, and performances.
